Since its incorporation in 2001, Nuevolution has raised an aggregate amount of approximately € 29 million (DKK 216 million). The shareholders of Nuevolution include Novo A/S, Scandinavian Life Science Ventures, SEB and Vaekstfonden.

Novo A/S' typical investments will be in equity, in amounts equivalent to DKK 5 million - DKK 50 million. Novo A/S prefers investing in early-stage companies, but may invest at any stage of a business idea's development -- from seed capital over private placements, to IPOs and public companies. Novo A/S may invest in any part of the world. Novo A/S aims to be an active, however, typically a minority shareholder and long-term partner who can lend value-adding support, by use of an extensive network and activity participation at Board of Directors' level.

Scandinavian Life Science Venture (SLS Venture), a Scandinavian-based venture capital company, is the result of the merger of the life science team from The Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund, Medicon Valley Capital and Innoventus.
The fund is one of the largest investment funds in Scandinavia in the life science sector with approx. 2,200 MSEK under management. SLS has invested in 25 companies

SEB Företagsinvest is the venture capital arm of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB). The business concept is to invest venture capital and to provide competence and an extensive network of contacts for growth companies in Technology and Healthcare in the Nordic area. Since it was started in 1995, SEB Företagsinvest has invested in 54 companies, of which 19 have been exited.
