Henrik Pedersen, Vice President & Chief Scientific Officer.
Henrik Pedersen is co-founder of Nuevolution A/S. He was previously employed at Novo Nordisk A/S, where he was responsible for the development of novel Ultra-High Throughput Screening systems, as well as for securing technology intellectual property rights. Henrik Pedersen was at Genentech Inc., at the Department of Molecular Oncology, working with phage displayed human antibodies, for about a year. Prior to that he spent two years as a postdoc in Prof. Peter G. Schultz's lab, at the Chemistry Department at UC Berkeley, working with various aspects of directed evolution and related methodologies.

Henrik Pedersen has solid experience from more than 10 years work with macromolecular recognition and artificial molecular evolution of all kinds of biological molecules, including antibodies, enzymes, proteins and peptides, as well as RNA (ribozymes) and DNA.

Henrik Pedersen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Odense University, Denmark, and he has authored or co-authored more than 40 publications and patent applications in the fields of macromolecular recognition, directed evolution, protein engineering and protein discovery.

Alex Haahr Gouliaev, Chief Executive Officer.
Alex Haahr Gouliaev is co-founder of Nuevolution A/S. He served as Vice President, Chemistry and Drug Discovery from 2001 until he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2005. He was previously Director of Medicinal Chemistry, member of the Management group, and a member of the Board of Directors at NeuroSearch A/S.

Alex Haahr Gouliaev has more than 10 years experience in medicinal chemistry, in vitro pharmacology, and process optimization and up-scaling of clinical candidates.

Alex Haahr Gouliaev received his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Aarhus University. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 publications and patent applications in the fields of synthetic/medicinal chemistry and CNS pharmacology.

Mads Nørregaard-Madsen, Director of Molecular Design.
Mads Nørregaard-Madsen is co-founder of Nuevolution A/S. As a molecular and structural biologist at Novozymes he was responsible for the market-oriented analysis, design and development of proteases and related protease inhibitors. Mads Nørregaard-Madsen was also research project leader for one of the major discovery projects at Novozymes.

Mads Nørregaard-Madsen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Structural Biology from Odense University, and he has authored or co-authored more than 20 publications and patent applications in the field of molecular biology and protein engineering.
