Henrik
Pedersen, Vice President & Chief Scientific Officer.
Henrik Pedersen is co-founder of Nuevolution A/S. He was previously
employed at Novo Nordisk A/S, where he was responsible for
the development of novel Ultra-High Throughput Screening systems,
as well as for securing technology intellectual property rights.
Henrik Pedersen was at Genentech Inc., at the Department of
Molecular Oncology, working with phage displayed human antibodies,
for about a year. Prior to that he spent two years as a postdoc
in Prof. Peter G. Schultz's lab, at the Chemistry Department
at UC Berkeley, working with various aspects of directed evolution
and related methodologies.
Henrik Pedersen has solid experience from more than 10 years
work with macromolecular recognition and artificial molecular
evolution of all kinds of biological molecules, including
antibodies, enzymes, proteins and peptides, as well as RNA
(ribozymes) and DNA.
Henrik Pedersen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology
from Odense University, Denmark, and he has authored or co-authored
more than 40 publications and patent applications in the fields
of macromolecular recognition, directed evolution, protein
engineering and protein discovery.
